Vocal for Local

Swadeshi, Swadeshi, Swadeshi? Vocal for Local?
Why am I hearing these nowadays? Why do I need it? Isn’t Swadeshi enough?
Here’s why;

We mustn’t limit Swadeshi to just making, buying and selling things. It is an excellent terminology initiated by our honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modiji which could lead to vast development and enriches people’s lives in the country. But Vocal for Local is a next step towards atma-nirbhar Bharat.

It’s the time when most of the people have lost jobs, most of the businesses got affected due to the pandemic. During this time Bharat, without accepting defeat, is trying to boost our economy through becoming self-reliant so that new jobs can be created, transform business processes and strengthen efficiency.

One good example is - Sevakart is a website which is developed during pandemic to promote Belgaum famous sarees and it really saved weavers life by creating market for the sarees. Likewise, we can help potters, local small vendors who depend on the visitors/tourists by purchasing materials from them instead of ordering from remote/foreign markets.
We can make online payments to vendors, so that even they will be technically strong and it will be a great opportunity to promote ‘Digital India”, “Online Payments”. Then while making online payments, we could set challenges like shopping in nearby areas of 1 km, or 2 km, etc. we can get cashbacks and that makes us even more eager to buy from local shops/vendors and thus we can promote “Vocal for Local”. This will not happen rapidly, rather it is going to be implemented gradually. But we can try our best in this movement together to make Bharat self-reliant because a small purchase to a local vendor can lead to big differences.

Let’s strengthen ourselves to serve the world

Vocal for Local

युग की दिशा बादल जायेगी, अगर तुम्हारा मन् बदले

बदले  सकल समाज , तुम्हारा यदि  चरित्र - चिंतन  बादले।

Vocal for local is a new movement called by our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji in last few months back. This is similar to Swadeshi Movement called by Mahatma Gandhi ji in 1906 and Swadeshi Jagaran Manch in 1990 and by Late Shri Rajiv Dikshit ji

PM Modi ji emphasized the need for India to recognize the importance of local manufacturing, local markets and local supply chains. He said that COVID-19 taught India the importance of being local. He said, “All our demands during the crisis were met locally. Now, it is time to be ‘Vocal about localProducts and help them become global.”

We had a complete lockdown in March 2020 due to Covid -19  Pandamic for entire Bharath due to which many of our Country the products or services we could not import during this pandemic from outside Bharath. That’s why our PM ji called Bharathiyas to be ' आत्मनिर्भर   (self-reliant)  and  self dependent to the extent  to support our country men and to face such pandemic situations in future.

We the nation to come together to encourage local businesses and products. As consumers we have so much power to change the world by just being careful what we buy. Let’s be  “Vocal for local”

We support and applaud the Hon’ble  Prime Minister on his आत्मनिर्भर  भारत Abhiyan to strengthen the भारत’s  Economy.

Vocal for Local

Never chase what you want.

Elevate your game until what you want pursues you.

Namaste

Our beloved Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji has called for vocal for local During Corona lockdown period. He said making the country self-reliant is the only way to make 21st century belong to India

Vocal for local means be open and voice for local products. We need to support and encourage for our country people to buy local products. Local products means which is produced in india or in our state or in our district.

By buying local products  we can support our local people due to which our economy will boost. Where many of our people lost business income and livelihood. It also makes our country आत्मनिर्भर भारत (self dependent) there by reducing import and support our own economy.

The आत्मनिर्भर भारत अभियान is a chance for Indian start- ups to take charge of the innovations for which we are usually dependent in global suppliers.

Let  us participate in this movement by voicing to all friends nearones make our country विश्व गुरु.

लोगो को स्वदेशी वस्तुओ के लाभ बताना है

अर्थव्यवस्था में सबको भागीदारी निभाना है,

हम सबको यथासंभव स्वदेशी ही अपनाना है ।।

Vocal for Local

Most of us were introduced to the term “Vocal for Local” or “Athmanirbar”  by our Prime Minister , Shri Narendra Modi ji  on August 15 , 2020 our Independence day. He was speaking during one of the most challenging times to our country due to the Covid crises and in addition the stand off with the Chinese troops

What  I understand by the term ‘Vocal for Local’ ?

Vocal for Local means that we should be promoting products which are made in india, our local craftsman and artisans by way of our words and actions.  Keeping this in mind, we should convey this message across the country, to our friends and family so that our bharat can be Atma Nirbhar Bharat - meaning a Self Reliant Bharat.

This does not mean that buying imported goods is bad, it is good in one or the other way. Trading with other countries is necessary for progress of our society as a whole. Because we learn many new things from other countries, while we teach the world, good things from our Bharat. But at the same time we should protect our culture and people.

We should have a balance on everything, our trade with other countries should be trade sufficient, not trade deficit. For example if we import goods from other countries for 1 lakh and we export goods for 1 lakh or more than that then it is trade sufficient , but if we import goods for 1 lakh and export less, then that is a trade deficit. Some products that we export are trade sufficient (Ex: Some agricultural produce and manufacturing of vaccines and medicines) and with some products we have a trade deficit (Ex: Manufacturing of certain goods and items like toys, electronics etc). So we have to make all the products as trade sufficient, so then it means that our country is a well developed country or Self Sufficient or Atmanirbhar.

Being self sufficient is especially important during times of crisis, such as COVID19, during which there will be a lot of trade and travel restrictions between countries.

With this aim, our Prime Minister had also launched a Make in India for the World  project in 2014. This  signifies India's aspiration to be a powerful trading nation.

Buying local products improves the economy , retaining our culture , it encourages people to make more local products at a good quality across the country and it is also good for us.

Now let's make a resolution to use local products more than imported products instead. So when you go shopping remember this and try to go Vocal for Local.
